We investigate correlated electron systems by angle-resolved photoemission (ARPES)

We study the microscopic electronic structure of complex materials with the aim of discovering new phenomena and advancing our knowledge of materials and fundamental understanding of interacting many-body systems.

We are interested in the electronic properties of complex materials

Our primary focus are low-dimensional electron liquids realized either in layered bulk crystals, thin films or on the surface of three-dimensional materials.

Current projects

We set up a high-resolution and low-temperature ARPES system dedicated to the study of correlated electron systems and exfoliated 2D materials.
